By changing the lids you have a deep pot and a small pressure cooker.

The pressure regulator offers 3 cooking levels:

• Grade 0 - No pressure, 0.0 bar. To cook without pressure or to reduce the pressure while cooking
• Tier 1 - Low pressure, 0.65 bar. For cooking vegetables and foods that boil easily.
• Grade 2 - High pressure, 0.85 bar. For cooking meats, legumes and time-consuming foods.

• The pressure regulator through which the steam is vented, keeping the pressure inside the kettle constant
• The pressure valve, which allows air to escape at the start of cooking and once it reaches the preset pressure level, locks the lid, preventing air from escaping as long as there is pressure inside. Once the pressure is completely relieved then it unlocks and you can open it
• The safety valve, which opens if the pressure regulator becomes clogged and malfunctions, to relieve the pressure
• The silicone rubber which prevents steam from escaping around the perimeter in normal operation. In the event of failure of the other valves, it opens, allowing steam to escape around the perimeter of the kettle
